Cabin In The Woods ~ UFO #9 2023 from Podunk Pretties

 These simple quilts are my favorite to make.   They come together quickly and with a little added applique they really shine.


They also mix well with other more complicated quilts when displayed.  The larger patchwork gives the eye a place to land. I feel like the quilting design can do the same.  Had I quilted it to death, it would not have the same warm come cuddle with me vibe.

I Need Some Bright And Happy from Podunk Pretties

 Hello Quilty Friends!  After months of working with not so loved fabrics, it's time to recharge my quilty soul.  Nothing makes this gals heart go pitter pat like a bright and happy quilt.  Oh, I have a ton of ideas for new quilts but I also have a ton of quilt tops needing to be quilted.  So I grabbed the one on the top of the stack.

UFO busting - Seeing Spots! from Sew Sunshine


I am not even sure when this little quilt was started. I know I had access to an Accuquilt machine at a local sewday. I cut out the circles and fusible circles too. I got home and started using some fancy stitches on my sewing machine to go around the edges.  I also remember taking them to a sew day at our county fair to sew on while being in the Quilts for Kids booth. The year? I am not sure.
